The most important thing about being a successful teaching assistant is having a desire to want to work with and be a positive role model for young people.
For clarity from the start, for us to be able to clear you for work, we will need to obtain a minimum of two references from everywhere you've worked in the past 24 months. We will also require a police clearance from every country you have lived in for greater that 12 months, within the last 10 years. Securing a sponsored teaching position without being in the country poses additional changes for teachers, but certainly isn't impossible. We suggest reviewing this information from the government website to assist you in understanding the process ahead.
For experienced teachers from across the world, we suggest look at enrolling in a Masters of Education like this one from Brunel University. Upon completion you will receive full right to work for two years to enable you to settle in England.
